Stand For Children, Great First Eight Curriculum

  • Wrote and edited both infant and toddler-intended exploration plans for a research- and standards-aligned, strengths-based, and culturally responsive and sustaining curriculum currently piloting at several sites.
     

Education Policy Consulting
Democrats for Education Reform (DFER) Massachusetts

  • Consulted for Democrats for Education Reform, Massachusetts by evaluating the validity and reliability of performance-based assessments as a supplemental metrics to the state-wide standardized MCAS test.

  • Assessed the feasibility of implementing performance-based assessments, including financial considerations, test creation, implementation logistics, scoring, and reporting.

  • Conducted stakeholder interviews with key figures from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), performance-based assessment schools/consortiums, and education reform advocates

  • Produced a comprehensive report with detailed data and cost/benefit analysis, evaluation of alternatives, and final recommendations.

Assessment/Transcript Design & Student Consulting

  • Developed model for mastery-based assessment and transcripts with the Learning, Equity, and Problem Solving for the Public Good (LEAPS) program set to pilot at the University of Michigan in Fall of 2024
